Each side of the spout is further embellished with a tiny mouse. The teapot is marked with British Registration number 128955.
Identical in style and quality to the wares made in Staffordshire, this piece was made by T. Green, a pottery manufactory in the Derbyshire region of England who registered the Cinderella pattern in the year 1889. The pattern was only made for four years and pieces from the sets are quite hard to find.
The teapot is in great condition. There is a small chip on the underside of the spout and a tiny fracture on the top rim, noticeable on close examination. No other chips, cracks or restorations. A striking example of a highly sought after pattern. This fabulous little piece depicting the much beloved fairy tale will make a fantastic addition to any collection of brown aesthetic transferware, and collectors of doll dishes or children's early nursery rhymes and fairy tales will proudly add this to their display.
