FLORENCE CERAMICS RARE FIGURINE CINDERELLA and PRINCE CHARMING - 1950s. This stunning figurine is one of the most sought after Florences.
The figurine stands 11-3/4 inches high. Beautifully detailed, the Prince holds her slipper as he gazes at Cinderella. Condition: This beautiful piece is from 1957 and there are some condition issues as is common with these vintage pieces. Cinderella's crown is not perfect and she is missing 2 of her fingers which isn't noticeable when she is displayed from the front because it is the hand behind the Prince's shoulder.
Other than this there are no other issues, chips, cracks or repairs, her other fingers and the Prince's fingers look fine, as does her slipper. Florence Ward, owner of Florence Ceramics and artist, was known for the great details of her sculptures and was one of the first artist to do ceramic lace. The figurine displays beautifully and would be a great addition to your Florence fine porcelain collection. Marked on base Cinderella and the backstamp Florence Ceramics Pasadena California.
